Hello Family & Friends, These pictures are in no particuluar order!! I tried but it just didn't work out.
The one above is of no special occasion, just James making a bridge with his car track, he was so proud of it, I had to take a picture.
We've been non stop busy since Thanksgiving. Some very exciting news is that We've had some snow and it is beautiful. It's a Winter Wonderland all over the place. Since we don't get snow every year, it's very exciting when it looks like this. Because of this, I've had an extra three days of winter break from school which is awsome!! We'll pay for that in June, but who cares - SNOW DAYS!! After Thanksgiving we took the kids to Leavenworth for a day trip. This was a fun day for us all, and the kids loved the shops, especially the ice cream ones and the toy stores. We've also enjoyed getting our house ready for Christmas. This is one of my favorite parts of Christmas, decorating and listening to Christmas music and ALL that stuff. Skip and I added to our Christmas village this year, (due to a great Craigslist add) and Skip fulfilled one of his dreams by making a landscape for the village. Skip and I took a trip to Vancouver for a weekend (we won it at a Mariner's game) which was very relaxing and enjoyable. Jeannelle stayed with the kids while we were gone which was a blessing to all of us!!
Skip is still looking for a job, thanks to the WAMU/JP Morgan & Chase buyout, and there are job prominsing things out there but nothing for sure yet, so we appreciate all your prayers as we are having Faith that God will provide. Have a wonderful weekend and if we don't see you soon, a great Christmas.

This pic was taken yesterday (12/19) as Avery was coming inside. She has just finished eating a handful of snow.

This is Avery coming in too - She is fascinated by the sound of the crunching snow.

Hannah can't walk very well but she was determined to walk around in the snow and she can roll in it JUST FINE. It's nice to see her enjoy herself so much.

Ah, the sweet taste of snow. (the white kind!)

James is always the little man, cleaning out the neighbors driveway. We went on a walk and he shoveled snow all the way.

This is Skip in a hat shop, at Granville Island in Vancouver. This was his favorite hat.

We saw this fountain on the way home from Vancouver, I thought it looked really cool, all frozen over.

This is a view of our street. You can't see our house, it's on the left, just past the white van.

This tree was on our walk. Looke too pretty to just pass by it without a pic.

James and Avery - it's so hard to get a picture of them together lately,

Here is a pic of them together but not smiling. Maybe next time.

This is me in the hat shop, with my favorite hat.

This is a parking garage in Vancouver, super decked out!

Skip and I took a train ride through Stanley Park in Vancouver, they had light display and since we collect nutcrackers, we liked this one a lot.

This is a church in Vancouver, that has a crazy light display called the "lights of hope" it raised money for a hospital, this is just part of the display.

James and Avery, post Santa Picture, walking around Country Village.

All of us...

James and Avery sharing the rocking toy.

Sometimes Avery wakes up from her nap in a swell mood and sometimes not.

James and Mama in Leavenworth.

Avery, almost always smiling, and almost always moving. it's so hard to get a picture of her that is not blurry but I love this one.

James and Avery hugging,

More James and Avery. This is at the top of Snoqualmie Pass, on the way to Leavenworth. We thought the kids would live to play in the snow but as you can see, there really wasn't any.

The beginning of Skip's Christmas Village Landscape.

Skip, putting the finishing touches on his road.

This is our thanksgiving table, we fit 7 adults here, then had a kids table too. You can see the little village in the background.

More to come soon, Justina

Our Fall Fun Festivities

October 2008

Hi Friends & Family:

Fall is always my favorite season - I love everything about it - the weather outside, the cozyness inside. it's awesome. All the Fall things are my favs too, like going to the pumkin patch and costumes for the kids. We had fun picking out pumpkins this year. This year, the patch had kind of a bad crop but the kids didn't care. James has his heart set on a "small round green one" so that is exactly what he got. Avery usually follows after him, so that is what she got too. Nevermind that hers is completely lopsided - she don't care! We also didn't care that they lasted less than a week, at least we have pics of their coolness. One of the kids' favorite fall things is playing in the leaves, we have some fun pics of those with Avery wearing her little brown velour jumpsuit (that's for you, Noni!) On Halloween, We did something different this year by going to the Fligh museum for Halloween, with Paul, Nancy and Sam joining us. It was such a great activity for our age of kids, no rain, very little candy, appropriate costumes and lots of planes for James. It was a great place for James and Avery to show off their costumes which they had on the WHOLE day! We got "dressed" about 8:00 in the morning, then off to the daycare party, then off to starbucks, Daddy's work next, then the flight museum and lastly, dinner with the McClellands. What an energizer bunny day. Whew...

These are the picks...

I guess now we will be getting ready for Christmas, Skip is working on our Christmas Village right now. He is getting really into it.

It seems I have become a web nomad and cannot stay at the same website for very long. I will try not to change my mind too often from now on!! We have been having a very fun and busy Fall including lots of "Fall Favorites" such as a trip to the pumkin patch, pumkin carving, playing in the leaves and of course, costumes! We even have some pictures to show...
